Long Response
1. I think guns should be controlled more strictly because if fewer people had access to weapons then I'd like to believe that there would be fewer tragedies.
2. If something were to happen at a school in Austin the response would be very argumentative because of the known gun laws in Texas.
3. These kinds of weapons should be banned because it's not safe for an average citizen to own an assault rifle. Knowing someone's age and a background check doesn't clear their intentions with buying the gun.
4. I've had a big group discussion with my friends about what happened in Florida, and I didn't say much because if I said my opinion then everyone would blow up. It was interesting to learn people's thoughts on the issue and their reasoning behind it.
5. I would probably attend marches and sign petitions and do whatever I could to enact change.
