Movie prep

1. Main Characters: Richard Phillips, Abduwali Muse, other pirates 2. The plot of the movie is going to be fairly simple following the real life events. Captain Phillips and his crew are on the Maersk Alabama heading to Kenya to deliver basic supplies, but are hijacked by 4 Somalian pirates. The crew takes one pirate hostage and agree to release him if the rest of the pirates take the life boat and leave. They agree but as they get in the life boat, they take Phillips hostage. The pirates sail towards the Somalian coast with the captain with 10 days worth of food and supplies. The government sends people out there to try to get Phillips back to safety because the pirates have guns and will use them. Navy people try to negotiate with the pirates and after a couple days of being in the life boat and negotiating, they kill 3 pirates, keep one alive for questioning (kind of a hostage), and get Phillips back to safety. 3.
