Long Response:

1. The company is called Yondr.

2. Over 600 American high schools are using them.

3. The pouches lock up the person's phone so they aren't addicted to using it at all times.

4. Some side effects are discipline problems have plummeted and the campus is really loud because people are talking to each other and aren't on their phones.

5. I think pouches would be useful in the case of movies and performances like that because it's disrespectful to the people performing and the people in the audience if you're just staring at a screen the whole time.

6. I wouldn't be happy if Bowie started using these pouches because we're starting to become more mature now and know when to use or not use our phones. Also what if students have to contact a parent and they're not allowed to do that?

7. I don't think cell phone usage will go down. New products will be introduced in the future and that will make people want to get the latest technology and try it. There's nothing people can really do to get the whole population off their phones.
